What are the odds of finding this small rock shaped by natural forces over millennia. There it was on a lake side beach made of millions of random stones.

The uniquely shaped stone spoke to me of the human predicament and I recognised the profound meaning of this in a random universe shaped by chance connections over billions of years that made the conditions for life to thrive on earth.
