2000 CIRCLES

One of a series of 12 sculptures made in the millennium year which contain 2000 elements - here they are circular holes made in a large snow disc on Mt Ruapehu, in the North Island of New Zealand. It was made during a storm and left to freeze. A week later in clear weather the holes were pierced and the next day at dawn the sun rose over the ridge to create the sunburst through one of the holes.

Archival quality signed and numbered print made with UltraChrome K3 pigmented inks on Moab 290g matt, PH neutral 100% cotton printing paper.
