Redrawing ourselves

I have tried to build a reflective quality into the stance of the guardian figures above. As two dimensional drawings I am implying that we can redraw ourselves as guardians.

This recently installed commissioned sculpture at a client's property has taken my work in a new direction. The client was unsure about including sculpture in relation to their contemporary architectural home, until I proposed these two figures sketched in steel. My intention was to personalise the space by inhabiting it with a human relationship.
